Tempest Plastic Outdoor Stanchion Installation Guides

ASSEMBLING the TEMPEST PLASTIC STANCHION

1. Pull 1 to 2 feet of belt out of the stanchion and pinch against or wrap around post to prevent it from retracting.

2. Prop base on its side and pass the belt-end through hole in bottom of base, then push post through. Align post so belt is facing away from handle (cutout) on base.

3. Stand post upright, step on base, and tug upward on the post until you feel a "snap" as it locks into place.

DISASSEMBLING The TEMPEST PLASTIC STANCHION

1. Turn stanchion upside down so it’s resting on the cap. Place on a soft surface to protect the finish. Press down firmly on the LAVI logo to release post from base and carefully lower the base down the post.

2. Place stanchion on its side and pull 1 to 2 feet of belt out, pinching or wrapping the belt against the post to prevent it from retracting.

3. Pull the post through the bottom of the base being careful not to trap the belt. Store in a cool, dry place.

Weatherproof blow-molded plastic base can be filled with sand or water and is durable enough to withstand the harshest environments
