Humane Tether

INTENDED USE: To provide a secure limited range of motion. Use only as specified in the instructions.
INSTRUCTIONS: Apply one end of the tether to the restrained person (i.e. wrist or on top of handcuffs), and the other to a secured object (i.e. wall mount or door mount). Proper handcuffing technique should be followed.
NOTE: Do not use for prolonged periods of time.

MATERIALS USED
12/13 oz. leather or polyurethane, rivets, washers, steel loops and one pair of handcuffs.
CLEANING AND MAINTAINING
For regular cleaning, wipe with mild soap and warm water. After wiping the leather only, allow to dry and apply neatsfoot oil. When decontaminating bloodborne pathogens on polyurethane, use one cup of bleach to a gallon of water, then rinse.
STORAGE
Leather should be stored in a dry place to prevent mildew. Store polyurethane away from heat greater than 280° or open flame.
