Polyurethane Ankle Hobble

INTENDED USE: To allow a restrained person to walk but prevent them from running or kicking. Use only as specified in the instructions.

INSTRUCTIONS: Before applying the restraint, unlock completely. Wrap the first cuff around the ankle and adjust to the appropriate size adjustment.

Feed the attached strap through the lock. Adjust the strap and follow locking instructions listed on lock and key spec sheet. Use the same procedure for the other ankle.

NOTE: Do not use for prolonged periods of time. Improper adjustment may prohibit proper circulation.

DESCRIPTION:

Ankle cuffs are 15" long and 3” wide, adjustable from 9" to 14". Cuffs securely lock on by a 1¼" wide polyurethane strap with L-300 lock buckle. The anklets are permanently attached to each other by a 9” long by 1¼" wide polyurethane strap which is riveted.

MATERIALS USED

1" and 3" wide rolled polyurethane, steel loops, and Humane Restraint L-300 lock buckle.

CLEANING AND MAINTAINING

For regular cleaning, wipe with a mild soap and warm water. When decontaminating bloodborne pathogens, use one cup of bleach to a gallon of water, then rinse and dry.

STORAGE

Store in a dry area to prevent mildew.
