Humane Blanket Wrap
IMPORTANT PRODUCT INFORMATION—PLEASE READ BEFORE USING
INTENDED USE: This special wrap is designed to transport a person in a horizontal position by using the handles on the side of the wrap. The wrap should go around the limbs and the body to prevent flailing of the limbs for patient and staff safety.
INSTRUCTIONS: Pull apart the ends of the wrap, detaching the hook and loop closure. Decide how the wrap will be best positioned, wrap around in a safe, secure manner, and align the hook and loop together. Be sure the handles are in a correct position so the person may be transported properly.

DESCRIPTION:
Each wrap has 12–14" of hook and loop overlap and six handles.
SAFETY CHECK

MATERIALS USED
Two-ply cotton webbing, 1½" press tape, hook and loop.
CLEANING AND MAINTAINING
All wraps can be dry cleaned or cleaned in your facility’s laundry at less than 280 degrees F. with hook and loop in closed position. Hook and loop may be cleaned with a lint brush. When decontamination bloodborne pathogens, use one cup of bleach to a gallon of water, then rinse.
STORAGE
Store with hook and loop in closed position in a dry area to prevent mildew.
