The Scintrex Trace EVD-3000+ Trace Detector is an advanced explosive detection unit that detects trace amounts of plastic & high vapor-pressure explosives such as C-4, PETN, Semtex, RDX and nitroglycerine. Using thermo-redox technology, this explosive detector can analyze either trace or vapor samples and delivers clear results in less than 10 seconds with the push of a button. No carrier gas or radioactive source is needed to operate the system which increases the safety of the end-user as well as reducing ownership costs.
